Tony Mount


Tony has experience across all sectors of commercial real estate, especially office and industrial in Australia and internationally. Key areas of expertise include property investment strategy, capital transactions, asset repositioning and portfolio performance management.

Tony is passionate about providing and developing the best investment solution for Élan clients.


Tony is a founding partner of Élan and is actively involved in developing strategy for investment markets that drives the Élan advice. Tony is also involved in the delivery of all of Élan’s products and services.

In the past three years Tony has managed Élan’s Investment Management Services contract for ANZ, which has included a $90M project delivering over $250M of cost saving from their portfolio. In addition he has managed the acquisition and Investment Management Services for a large international client with a portfolio of commercial assets located in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Canberra with a combined value of $850M.

As well as these major clients Tony works with Grant Thornton and a number of private clients and financial advisors providing strategic advice and Investment Management Services. Over the last three years Tony has been actively involved in buying and selling over $950M of property across over 10 transactions. Current mandates include portfolio management of a $45M portfolio of office, industrial and retail assets.


Tony has over 18 years’ experience in the commercial property investment industry and has worked as Chief Investment Officer for a publicly listed company, managing a diverse $2.1bn property portfolio of 105 properties in 18 funds.

In addition he has worked as a fund manager, in investment management and in capital transaction for property fund managers in Australia and Europe. He has directly managed investments on office, industrial, retail, hotel and data centre properties. Tony has worked for major corporations including Lend Lease, PwC, Deloitte Corporate Finance, Knight Frank and Becton.
